Great combination of difficulty and repeat playability. One of the few scrolling games that I actually was able to play and enjoy and actuallu beat from time to time. Loved the bold, charming graphics and the quiet, subdued sounds. I gave it a 9 because the higher levels are just level 1 repeated at faster speeds.

One of my fav horizontal "side" scrollers. I don't know how to explain my taste other than tell it like it is, I like vertical scrollers to be frantic and edge-of-seat, but dislike the same in side scrolling such as "Caverns of Mars 2" or "Laser Hawk" which ain't so bad. "Sea Dragon" is so relaxing, the added long period sonar pinging qualifies as an anger-management tool. It's probably time I put the Save anytime-anywhere feature of the emulator to use in cheating "Sea Dragon" to get to the end or higher levels.
