No Speed is not controllable. Not really a shooter but more of a rescue game. The more people you attempt to rescue at a time, the higher the score. Pick up people at the North grandstand. I enjoyed it.

Just tried this game on my Atari XEGS using A8Pico Cart and it plays really fast. Is there any way to slow it down?

It's like River Raid meets Choplifter. What's not to like?

Not the most graphically outstanding game I've ever seen for the Atari, but that doesn't matter- it's fun and addictive. Though even as a kid I realised that shooting alligators/crocodiles (gorily illustrated on Alternative's reissue) was an environmentally dubious aspect of the game :-/

unless you don't like shooters or driving games, you will love this game!
