No sooner did I submit my partial solution to CASA, someone submitted a complete solution and map for it. The password is UGOTIT.

There's apparently no way to solve this. I got to the same point as this reviewer from 1987: https://www.page6.org/archive/issue_25/page_16.htm I put my step-by-step solution up on CASA: https://solutionarchive.com/game/id%2C1838/Powerstar.html It might require someone to look at the code and figure out what the password is supposed to be.
