Synapse Software's Pharaoh's Curse proves that you shouldn't let "Level 0" lull you into a false sense of security... and that a 4x4 grid of rooms actually feels a lot bigger than you might think. Also, I wish death upon that flying flappy bastard. Let's Play! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AG8duK6QJoA

Why oploaded front cover, in the logo says "Pharoah's" instead "Pharaoh's"?

Love it. Never played it back in the day but enjoying it now. That's a sign that something is truly good.

Absolutely one of my favourite games on the Atari. A distinctive look and feel, great sound effects, wonderful atmosphere and frustrating but satisfying "open-world" platforming and adventuring. A game I still play on a regular basis today!

Great game. Hilarious about the spelling error on the front. This was just pointed out in an ebay listing.

Hands down, one of the best games on the 8-bit Atari. I remember going back to this game so many times - the random layouts made it always fresh, and you gotta love the gun shooting mummy and pharaoh!

Definitely one of my favourites! Brilliant stuff!

Owning and playing over 200-300 games when i was 14 and 15 years old, thanks to my dad, this has to be my favorite Atari 800 game EVER

i played this game over 20 years ago. back then it was amazing. i thought once you pass all 3 levels and acquire the pasword SYNISTOPS something awesome was going to happen. did i miss something? cheers, jason. it would be fun to play it on my mac. if i download rainbow is there a ROM available for this game?

Another Synapse classic, giving you a light shoot 'em up and treasure hunt. Sort of like the Bruce Lee game, which came out a year later and by a different company, taking place in the catacombs. And there's the luck of the draw when the bird drops you off at a screen you've already completed or one you haven't. This usually adds to the time it takes to complete the level.
