This is a fascinating comment. I can only imagine what those heady days were like. I picked up Slingshot when I was a kid and now I’m middle aged I have an obsession with collecting late Atari UK 8-bit releases. I’ve just ordered Nucleus from eBay to add to my collection. I look forward to playing!

I wrote this in my spare time and sold to Atari through Icon Design/Lothlorien who I was working for at the time. It felt great to have a game I made published by Atari themselves. We also had a great day out at the Atari hospitality tent at the British Grand Prix that year for qualifying, not important enough for race day, but a great day out none the less. (I still have the promotional holdall in the loft). I remember Sam Tramiel who was the boss at Atari at the time being a few seats away showing off this crazy new tech which was an pre release Lynx.
