Hello, this is Ron Kim, author of NEBS. I wrote this game when I was about 14 years old and got a contract for it with Dynacomp and enjoyed monthly royalty checks. I have not though about NEBS since the mid-1980's and only recently found this site and was suprised to see my games on it! This is a basic shoot-em-up with a little bit of animation (e.g. when you shoot a NEB). Each of the NEBS compares it's x and y coordinates against yours to get closer to you. You move, then a NEB moves. Therefore, the less NEBS there are, the faster they appear to move because they don't have to wait long for a turn to move. By the way, "NEB" was the name of my teddy bear growing up, which inspired the name of the aliens: the NEBS. Enjoy!
