To the people who gave poor ratings to this, you've missed the point. It's not supposed to be a graphical tour-de-force, but an audio one. Yes, it's an audio maze! Quite remarkable and unique--I'd love to hear Mr. Crockford's story of how this came about and how to successfully "navigate" the maze!

A demo that seems more musically than graphically oriented. But as others have said, the music is top notch. It does have that medieval quality to it, or something you might hear at a Renaissance themed fair.

This is an extraordinary demo if you find the hidden music! I have never been able to get the really good music sequences to play without moving the joystick around. I also have been unable to discover what joystick sequence activates the "easter egg'd" music, but it is worth the effort. The music is definitely game class and would have made a great addition to one of the Ultima or Bards Tale games. Outside Gary Gilbertson's work on Beta Lyrae this remains one of the best music sequences ever composed on the 8-bit. If Douglas ever sees this message I hope he can write a few sentences on how this program came about and how one should activate the demo.

This program came out on Jace Disk #11 and was one of the more enjoyable sound demos. Essentially, it plays about three minutes of variations on a musical theme while depicting a corridor whizzing past at high speed.
