6/10 from me. Yes the attack patterns are closer to the arcade Galaxian, but this game feels half finished to me. I could die of old age waiting for the aliens to attack me, and the sound is quite annoying with the background throb being grating rather than atmospheric as it is on Atari 2600 Galaxian. It plays okay, but sloooooowly. Atari 8-bit Galaxian seems to get hated on for not being arcade perfect, but for me it has way more playability than this. Not a bad game by any means but it comes third behind the official Atari 8-bit and 2600 versions for me.

The colors off and the players ship looks odd. But other than that it plays just like arcade Galaxian. Much better than Atari's own 8-bit Galaxian.

    Wow, a GREAT Galaxian clone!

I just got done playing this little gem and WOW! Wish I would have had this game back in the day. It makes Atari's version look even worse than it is.

Considering the year it was released, this program is a minor miracle. It's such a good version of Galaxian that it could have been stuck into arcade cabinets. An absolutely stunning program.

Great game! Bought it on eBay the other day for $10.00. That's a bargain!

Galactic Chase by this company is what Galaxian should have been when Atari themselves produced this in cart form factor. The game is as good as it gets, and load entirely in one pass, into RAM. Play action is fast, predictable, authentic with just the right sound effects. An original copy of this game on disk sold the other day on eBay for $10.00. That's a bargain. The IBM ports of this game just don't have that same touch that it has played on a vintage Atari 8-bitter. If you find it for the 8-bit, buy it, and don't look back. You'll not regret your purchase. Now, go save the earth!
