Additional Comments

Dual Duel appears to have been created for a software contest organized by the famous computer magazine Byte.
The program initially requires a cable connecting the joystick ports of two computers for a network game. Though Dual Duel will not allow two-player contests as it does not even complete initialization without the cable, emulator users can load the Dual Duel.a8s saved state file and see what the game looks like (see first screenshot for playing instructions).
Many thanks to:
* Fandal for analyzing the game and taking screenshots
* Bob!k for the saved state file and creating a playable version
