Your goal is to afford enough money to buy "brew," then find the dragon hidden somewhere in the maze. At the store you can buy the things with the gold that you collect, usually by killing orcs in a mostly-random bunch of dice rolls. In the store, the gypsy gives hints about where the dragon is, the spells can teleport you to the room number you desire (rooms are numbered starting at one in the upper-left, 11 in the upper-right, and so on). "Lodging" restores some of your strength (which improves your fighting bonuses) and "Doctor" restores some of your HP (run out and you die). Every few turns you must eat "pie." The weapons for sale give hit bonuses of 1, 2 or 3 (depending also on your strength). When your strength is low, the store offers discounts. When it's too low inside the maze you automatically drink serum (which you find scattered around). It's really tricky and mostly about money management. Just when you almost have enough to buy the brew, and you have enough pie to last you...you run into the random thief. Sheesh!

There are no action-packed sequences, but this maze RPG with lots of variety is definitely fun...AND well-presented!
