Author David H. Schroeder speaks and closes the case in regard to the existence of a prototype...
"Dino Eggs was never adapted for the Atari system. Micro Fun made a habit of announcing a number of versions that never made it to market. They announced (and began development) on a Coleco version of both Crisis Mountain and Dino Eggs but never finished them. In the case of the Atari version of Dino Eggs, I'm not aware that it was ever actually begun".
