Actually it turns out the version I like better has not even been compiled tho it is a .xex file (emulator activates Basic cart automatically in XL/XE mode, that is how I did not know). The better version can be found on the Homesoft collection disk named "Spiele 355" (tho it comes segmented 144X, we should defragment it). See this screenshot how the High Score starts out blank, tell the difference this way because the improved version begins with high score "000000", traps Reset, and loads without delay. Emu had me thinking it required XL/XE but that was because 400/800 models need the Basic cartridge in. You can see the sourcecode Basic listing for this clunky version by pressing Reset, it takes you to the Ready prompt then type LIST. The enhanced version had the REMinder comments deleted, so we can't be sure who wrote it?

As it comes, written in Basic, this program wasn't good enough for me. BUT, after being converted into Compiled Basic it turns out nice. Graphics is top notch.
