There's a fair bit of variety to the monsters and treasures in this RPG, but what kills it for me is the totally random map...as in, the game creates three random rooms for every step you take, and then forgets them with the next step. This turns "Cells and Serpents" into a dungeon crawl with no real dungeon, which is no fun in my opinion.
