Callisto is a good game, challenging gameplay and jaw-dropping graphics. The *only* criticism is that the game is too short as there are only 4 levels! www.gwobby.webs.com

Nope, just making too much compairsons with other 8-bit micros' game library of the time.

Tried it out... I say it is another medicore shmup of the bunch. What is the point? Man, the Atari 8-bit gaming scene is really walking in medicore "low budget" stuff since 1985 (excluding Yoomp!). Show me something that is up to par with, Gradius or R-Type, (or Zybex at minimum)... I mean up to par in design and playability, and not just some nice looking unfinished techdemo. And not only shmups, platformer games too! The 48k ZX Spectrum pulled off Turrican quite well and you say that Turrican is impossible on the Atari 8-bit?
