  the modest Atari was a little underpowered to handle Williams "Defender" in first person 3D. so you should see it playing around 1.5 - 2.0 X speed on a fast emulator! the tie-fighters are more convincing than in the Star Wars attack on the death star. "Blaster" was unfinished and maybe wouldn't be named Blaster if it got completed, but what other game was there along these lines? (smile). i feel like there's a huge hole in arcade heaven where this game was meant to sit, and instead it went to hell. / best advice to come out of Country Music: if you're going through hell, keep on going.

  I wasn't too sure about this game before as it didn't seem to involve you much as the player but hook up the Trak-Ball and it's awesome fun! Having to spin that ball madly somehow makes it much, much better :-D

  this was originaly developed on the 5200.. but williams said "arcade games come out first, then the home version". so there were a few limited arcade units made, but the game never took off, and the game shelved. A hardy attempt at 3-d on the old 8-bitter.computer version slightly different.
