The original game was designed by Simon Smith in 1982. An obvious Robotron clone, it features simple coloured sprites and no extra animation or backgrounds. Actually works really well. Each character has its on set of rules which affects the gameplay. For instance, the spider has to bet shot 3 times. In 1984, licensed to Microdeal and renamed Arena 3000. Ported poorly to Spectrum. C64 port uses double joysticks which is cool but not necessarily better. Recommended!

Incredible game. Loads of 'aliens' rushing at you chasing you all over the place. Wonderful memories.
