My Holmesian detective skills conclude this is a "Wumpus" game in disguise. But with role reversal. Look at the similarities. You move through cave rooms connected by Angled passageways, must avoid creatures lurking in adjoining rooms. Alf is a BABY Wumpus and the things you avoid look like human eyes or human feet. "Wufflegump" might mean Human in the wumpus' language. Watch out for wufflegumps!
