Old graphics choose your adventure type games don't live on into this modern age i.m.o. but this one stands out. This game was marketed alongside the theatrical movie release. Buckaroo Banzai (1984) is a feature film that became a cult classic. btw the special-features DVD is encoded in High Color Depth and packed with jokes and trivia, DVD is most commonly seen in Medium or Low color depths in case u didn't know. Game is made tolerable thru high speed emulation, waiting for screens to complete drawing is so last millennium, and thru access to "walkthroughs" on the internet. Walkthroughs almost always come with mistakes in them, so perhaps in a clever gaming sort of way, trying to apply a "walkthrough" to an old game can generate new puzzles to be solved, like - what is wrong with this walkthru?? Also making this particular game tolerable is the memorable movie atmosphere it captures however slightly. "No matter where you go, there you are".
