Two different versions of this game exist. The second version (packaged with a b&w manual) fixed the following infamous 'pole vault bug' in the original version: if you keep hitting the Fire button after letting go of the pole during the pole vault event, you can clear heights well beyond the intended limit of 5.6m.
The SECAM version of The Activision Decathlon has all events written in French, instead of English.
