Be warned!, this game is not earth shattering, but it is that little
bit different, I fully admit to having the idea for this game after
viewing VidGrid on the JaguarCD, As this version is aimed towards Atari
ST to STE range of computers then I have had to take into consideration
the obvious limitations that my humble STFM one megabyte has, if per
chance anyone does want to take me up on the closeness of the name or
indeed the game idea then please feel free to contact me at the address
supplied in this document,
The game is simple, you are confronted by some video footage,this is
cut into sections and arranged in a purely random order, all you have to
do is sort it out, whilst the video is playing,
There are four pieces of Video, Red Dwarf, Monty Python, Slags and
Freddy Starr, These where all supplied by Deano of Silly software, This
game could possibly have been enhanced had I a video cartridge myself,
cartoon videos with there simple pictures could have been easily coloured
in for better results etc etc, longer videos etc, but alas I simply did
not have the tools, However there is a program that I just happen to have
made, that will convert your video files for use in this game, all you
have to do is contact me and I will arrange to send it to you, FREE,
There are four levels to the game, these are accesed in sequence with
the first easy level containing four squares to the animation, level two
has ten squares, level three fifteen and level four a mind boggeling
thirty squares,
Keys: HELP will present you with a not too pleasent help screen
outlining the keys available,
UNDO quits, but if you have enough points to get on the high
score table then it will prompt you for your name ( 5 letters ) then
place you on the table, then attempt to save the table to disk, this will
be aborted without warning if the disk is write protected,
H will present you with the high score table for your perusal
F1 to F10 changes the music,
LEFT Mouse Button selects a square,
RIGHT Mouse Button drops a square, you can only drop onto
another peice of animation and not back onto the blank square you just
made by picking a peice up,
Thats about that!, nothing much to the instructions, but then
again nothing much to the game, "its just for fun",
