Colorful and engaging version of the arcade classic that zips along at an energetic pace. The faster tire pump really makes a difference, and for once I don't feel hopelessly overwhelmed from the start. Compared to its 800 cousin, this Dig Dug is better in nearly every way. One of the 5200's strongest arcade titles.

One of the nice things about having an Atari machine was the ports of popular Namco titles. Dig Dug was one of those titles. This port plays and looks just like the arcade hit. This one is a common title so it should not be that difficult to find. Controls for this game work well with the analog stick. Collectors beware: this game was released by Atari, Inc. and Atari Corp. The first release has better package quality.
