INSTRUCTIONS

                                    YAHTZEE

                                    =======

A dice game for up to six players, Yahtzee combines luck and skill in equal
measure. Each player has thirteen turns - each turn consists of three throws.
At the end of each turn, the score obtained must be entered into one of the
score categories provided, and explained below.

                                  TOP SECTION
The categories marked "Ones" through to "Sixes" score only that number on the
five dice, e.g. a throw of 3 twos a five and a one would score 6 if
entered into the twos category, 5 if put into fives and 1 if entered as "ones".

At the end of the game, should a player achieve three of each number in each
category (or an overall top section score of 63) a bonus of 35 is awarded.

                                 BOTTOM SECTION

Three of a kind: If any three of the five dice show the same number, the
program will allow you to enter the score into this category.
Your score will be the total of ALL the dice.
Four of a kind: As above but four dice must show the same.

Full-house: To enter a score in this category, three of the dice must
all show one number and the remaining two, one different
number. For example, a score of 3 fours and 2 ones is a "Full
House". This category always scores 25.

Short Straight: A straight run of four numbers - the fifth dice may show any
number, and is discounted. e.g: one, two, three, four, six or
three, four, five, six, four. This category always scores 30.

Long Straight: As above, but all dice must form part of the sequence, i.e.
the two possible throws are either one, two, three, four, five or
two, three, four, five, six. This category always scores 40.

Yahtzee: All five dice must show the same number. This scores 50 on
the first occasion a player achieves it in a game; any
further occurence will score a bonus of 100 plus an extra go.
Chance: This category has no special conditions: it just scores the
sum of your dice score. Use it when your score doesn`t meet
the requirements of the other categories. Once you have used
your chance you will have to start scoring ducks (X's) in the
other categories!
