INSTRUCTIONS
Read this Document in MEDIUM RES! ********************* * * * TALIONIS 2 * * * ********************* ********** *LOADING:* ********** Double Click on TALION2.SCK ( not a program file ) to run the game. Fire to start blasting. Any further demos and games can be found in the MORE folder. See a seperate README for details. ********************************* * TALIONIS 2 - THE STORY SO FAR * ********************************* After returning home from a holiday on another planet, finding Earths defences had gone haywire and blasting ten shades of stratosphere out of 600 Talions, you were ready for a break... ...But thats when the boss called. Looks like you've been assigned to save the entire Earth instead of you own backside this time. Your mission objective is to fly through the deadly nest of the Talions. Armed with a highly manuverable space fighter you must traverse a narrow lane of pure alien scum. Theres no force with you, theres no one to beam you up and theres no bitmap shades to help you. The last time you met it was a playground scrap - this time its war. ************************ *TALIONIS 2 - CONTROLS * ************************ Ensure you have a joystick in the usual port ( Port ONE ) and a trigger finger at the ready. Ensure your parents are out of the bedroom to ensure no foul language can be heard from your blasting. SPACE BAR = PAUSE ESCAPE = QUIT FIRE = A POPULAR OPTION **************************** * TALIONS 2 - THE NEW BATCH * ***************************** Talionis 2 features aliens that are a little bit more dangerous than those in Talionis 1. You will need manuvering skills further into the game as the Talions become more aggressive and the trench becomes filled with obstacles. Data gathered on the nest shows that the Talions are using Force-Field generators which need to be shut down at specific power points in order to pass. You will find out anyway - the easy way or the hard way. Beware of the final gateway - you will be faced with a choice of tunnels - be sure not to pick the obvious... ******************************* * TALIONIS 2 - SCORE DISPLAYS * ******************************* Your score is situated in the top left of the screen along with your lives. You have a squadron of 3 fighters at your disposal. The Earth-Defence Corporation ( E.D.C ) made a deal to give you another fighter every 10000 points you achive. Unfortunatly, since the E.D.C now no longer exists as it was completely blown away by the Talions, you have no longer got that luxury. 3 ships are all you have ( Didums ). WHAT MORE CAN I SAY? GOOD LUCK! ( YOU'LL NEED IT! ) *********************************** * TALIONIS 2 - WHERES TALIONIS 1? * *********************************** If you missed out on the original TALIONIS then you can purchase it direct from the author ( thats me ) along with an extra game ( a shoot em up too ) thats unavailable in the PD! The original TALIONIS features 600 Alien attack waves, faster scrolling and continuous and unadulterated BLASTING.
