INSTRUCTIONS

OFFWORLD SECURITY (Unregistered Version November 1995)
by Gregory Brown.
This version is Shareware! Please Copy and Spread.

Game Instructions :
The object of the game is to return your pods to the base before the aliens
can mutate them. If all the pods are destroyed then the game is over. There
are 8 manic levels in all.

System Requirements :
OffWorld Security requires a 4 mb Falcon, 2.2 megs of hard disk space, a TV
or RGB monitor and a joystick in port 1.

Game Controls :
Joystick	:	Movement & Fire
Space :	Bomb (Registered version)
Asterisk	:	Quit current game
Esc :	Back to Desktop

Program Info
This game was written in 100% assembly language using DevPac 3.1, Apex Media,
Truepaint and ProTracker. It is my first attempt at 680x0 assembly and also
my first game. The screen is updated at 50 frames per second, unfortunately
when too many sprites are onscreen it drops down to 25, also the sound is
in mono.
Needless to say, these things will be looked at in the second version.

Shareware Notice :
If you really do like this game and would like to receive the unrestricted
version (No Nag Screen and Smart Bombs) and encourage ongoing development,
then send a cheque or postal order for œ5 (payable to Gregory Brown).
Please feel free to add any comments or suggestions.

Possible Improvements for OffWorld Security Version II :
Bug Fixes (If you haven't noticed any then don't worry about it!),
Better sound,
Better graphics,
Parallax scrolling,
More aliens,
More levels,
Different landscapes,
Power Ups,
A high score table,
PowerPad support,
And No Slowdown!!
