INSTRUCTIONS

     GOLDRUSH

The purpose of the game (apart from driving you mad) is to
retrieve all the bars of gold lying around.

You do this by simply walking up to the stuff and picking it
up. However, a guard is after you to prevent you from
achieving your aim. His touch is deadly. Your only defense
is quick thinking and your only weapon is a never ending
     supply of bombs.

Bombs can only be thrown down onto the floor either side of
you. You can't throw bombs against walls, on glass, straight
down, whilst standing on ladders or at the guard. The effect
of the bombs is to create a temporary hole in the fabric of
the floor. The two reasons for doing such a thing are 1) To
try and tempt the guard to fall in to the hole and 2) To
excavate down to lower levels so you can drop down a level.

Control of your Runner droid is by JOYSTICK in the normal
     Joystick port.

Control is as follows: LEFT = Move left RIGHT = Move right
UP = Move up DOWN = Move down

BOMB DROP = HOLD BUTTON & FLICK LEFT OR RIGHT

or by MOUSE. To drop bombs, hold down the LEFT BUTTON and
move the mouse left or right.

or by KEYBOARD. CURSOR KEYS for movement & INSERT, CLR HOME
to drop bombs left and right.

The Chase droid guard will look after himself.

You can jump from a ladder but the guard can't and only
you can drop bombs. On the other hand only you will fall
     through the secret trapdoors...

At the start of the game you are given the option of the
guard waiting for your move or else permanantly being after
you. I would suggest you take the much easier option of
MOTION DETECTING until you feel you need the extra
     challange.
