FROM THE RESERVOIR GODS
=======================
Welcome to "The 12 Days of Christmas" a spanking new adventure for Dub and Dub
to embark on. To play you must have a copy of Double Bobble - The Further
Adventures.
-* PLOT *-
As Christmas approached Dub and Dob carefully made their Christmas lists. Full
of excitement they placed them in envelopes addressed to Mr. F. Christmas, The
North Pole and rushed to the nearest postbox.
"Now then lads, what's all the hurry?" asked Pugh the Welsh postman.
"It's our Christmas lists!" enthused Dub.
"Yeah, I've asked for a Microbox!" squeaked Dob.
"Well lads, you may be disappointed. I'm afraid the evil Darren Von Blubba has
hijacked Christmas and from now on the only gifts people will be allowed to give
and receive are ones bought from his sausage factory!" warned Pugh.
"That's terrible!" cried Dub.
"I don't even like sausages!" lied Dob.
Dub and Dob pondered their predicament when a lightbulb appeared above Dub's
head.
"Hey Dob! I've an idea! Lets battle through 12 levels of platform based arcade
action with a Christmas theme and thus save the spirit of Christmas for the
nation."
"Hurrah" squealed Dob, not having a clue what his friend was talking about, but
not wanting to dampen his obviously high spirits.
"Good luck lads!" shouted Pugh, doffing his cap at the two figures that were
scampering off down the road.
-* HOW TO PLAY *-
The 12 Days Of Christmas is a new Double Bobble adventure. To play you most own
the registered version of Double Bobble ("The Further Adventures").
Load "The Further Adventures" as normal.
On the main menu select the option "LOAD NEW LEVELS".
Now select "LOAD LEVEL SET". A file selector will appear.
Choose the correct directory and click on "DUBLXMAS.SET".
Now select "LOAD GRAPHICS SET 2". The file selector will appear again.
Now click on the file "DUBLXMAS.GOD".
Now everything has loaded, go back to the main menu and choose play game and
enter a festive world of Double Bobble!
-* HINTS & TIPS *-
This is only a mini adventure so try to complete it without using any credits.
Try not to pick up too many power-ups as they make it too easy!
Umbrellas will let you complete the game far too quickly so ignore them!
