Do you remember when games were FUN?
No? Well you obviously haven't seen 'Men At War'.
DigDug is easily classified as a 'Classic' - i.e. its old.
It's a game from the 80s. Remember them?
o DIG DUG : THE PLOT
The country is in chaos. The evil Dr Micheal Heseltine and his army of ruthless
yuppies are closing down 'The Pits' across the nation. You play squirrel-faced
Arthur Scargill and you must battle to rescue the vocation of mining from the
whims of 'The Man'.
You begin your quest in the barbaric wasteland known only as 'Northern England'.
Your task is to 'Reclaim The Pits', ridding them of the dragon-faced young
Conservatives that have taken them over and are scaring away the miners.
Being Northern, you have been genetically designed to mine the land and scoff at
such frivolities like drilling machines. These are for southern softies! You dig
with your bare hands!
Your only weapon against the Tories is a bicycle pump. You reason that they are
so full of hot air that a couple of puffs will blow them up!
Contact with any of the Tories will lead you to be branded a 'scab' and cause
you to lose one of you NUM membership cards. You only have a limited supply of
these so if you don't want to be banished from the party for ever keep your
distance!

Didn't quite achieve the following of its predecessor but is still a 'classic'
in its own right ( or left as the case may be ).
