CTA is an adventure game that is more than a game. In it, the player
finds himself battling evil with the Sword of the Spirit, the Staff of
Righteousness, and other weapons. The creatures are allegorical, in that
they represent problems that we all face from time to time. The winner of
the game will successfully defeat all his opponents using the appropriate
weapons. Be forewarned! If you meet a creature that you do not have the
appropriate weapon for, you will die, and have to start over. Sorry 'bout
that!

Tips:

EXAMINE everything! There is a shortcut to "EXAMINE" which is to type a
"." before the object name. For example, instead of "examine diamond",
type ". diamond". Abbreviations for directions are also appropriate...
"N" for north, etc. "I" will tell you what you are carrying, in case you
forget. "L" looks around the room again. Other valid verbs are "touch",
"push", "pull", "turn", "hit", "kill", "take", "get", "open", "close",
"read". By the way, READ everything you can!. Sometimes, I left hints
and other important readable stuff. Sometimes, I brought out my position
on some of the current issues, or poked fun at some of our society's values,
such as television. To quit, type "quit". You can also save your current
position with "save", and restore it with "restore".

You are encouraged to share this program with anybody you want to.
It would be great if you would pass it along to as many people and upload
it to as many bulletin boards as possible. There are already enough
games involving the use of "magic".

I hope you enjoy this game. I invite your comments and suggestions.
