o What is SWORM ?

Sworm is a game. You can play it with your hands. Eyes recommended.


o What else will I need ?

A Faclon(tm)030 computer.
Four megabytes of memory.
A colour monitor or RGB, VGA or Televisual standard.
A keyboard.


o Where did Sworm come from?

Sworm was  written  for  the  24hr  Snake  game  coding  competition  during the
Reservoir Gods "Cwmvention 96".


o How do I pronounce Sworm?

As in "Swarm".
Not as in "S-Worm" or "Swurm".



o Sworm Menu -------------------------------------------------------------------

 VIEW

You can player the game on a flat board or mapped onto a cube.
Playing the game in 3D is not easy and practice is recommended.

 LEVEL

There are five built in levels. Each  has a different high score associated with
it. Level zero is clear from obstacles but later levels have walls that you must
avoid.

 BONUSES

There are four different bonuses that can be collected.

// Decrease snake size
// Increase snake size
// Generate wall
// Restart level

If you pick up a "restart  level"  then  all  obstacles will be cleared but your
score will remain intact.

 MUSIC

The sound can be turned on and off.  The  DSP tracker system was coded by Tat of
Avena. The volume can be controlled in the game.

Sworm is controlled with the keyboard:

Cursor Up - Move Snake Up
Cursor Down - Move Snake Down
Cursor Left - Move Snake Left
Cursor Right - Move Snake Right
F1  - Pause
F2  - Decrease Volume
F3  - Increase Volume
F4  - Toggle Speaker
F10 - Exit Game
