                    < P A I N I U M D I S A S T E R >
                     -----------------------------------

After a long time PAINIUM DISASTER has been finished now! (28.09.1997)

Normally this game should be a commercial produkt for a price of DM 69,-, but
we have decided to launch it as a Shareware-Game. One reason for this is that
there are still some bugs in the game (especially at the big enemys at the end
of each level); therefor the developers of ATARI are also accessory, because of
the timing - no FALCON is like another one. On my computer PAINIUM DISASTER
runs well without any bugs or problems, but on other ones the are sometimes
problems. Should the game always crashes at the end-enemy of a level and you
would like to see the other sections then rename the level-files like this:
LEVEL_2.DAT => LEVEL_1.DAT

If you like the game then register please for a price of DM 30,- ($16) to
honor our three years of work. Therefor you will get 5 disks with PAINIUM
DISASTER-labels, a printed instruction and colored box with a raytrace-
picture on it. You can pay with a cheque or cash.

Supplement: You don`t have to pay, it`s freeware now!

Instalation:
------------

Copy all files to your harddisk into the same directory and then put it
together with the program SPLIT-IT. After that start INSTALL.PRG to de-
pack it automatically. You should click on START.PRG in the directory
PAINIUM to start PAINIUM DISASTER.
