This game works on all Atari computers with at least 512k RAM, a color
monitor, SS/DD disk drive, and a joystick. Magno-ball runs smoother on
an Atari STE or greater.
Your playing in the ISTA, Internation Space Tournament Arena, and
the game is Magno-Ball.
The object of the game is to catch the ball and guide it to your
opponent's moving goal.
Starting the Game
To load, double click on 'Magnobal.PRG' from you disk or hard drive.
use the joystick connected to port one, to control the menu
functions. to begin the game simply press the joystick button. To
exit the game press ESC from the main menu. Player one is tan and
player two or the computer is blue.
Playing the Game
To control your ship move the joystick in the direction that you
wish to move. to catch the ball, simply move your ship to the ball.
The ball will then be caught by the magnet on the front of your ship.
To locate a ball or you opponent that is off your screen, use
the radar located above the timer. It will show the ball's (in red)
and the players' (in blue and tan) position.
Handling the ball can be tricky. Any contact with the boundaries,
the blockers, or your opponent, and the ball will escape your control.
After you locate the goal, press the joystick button to shoot
the ball. The game will continue until the time expires. The player
with the most points wins the game.
SPACE BAR Pauses the game.
ESC Returns you to the main menu.
