GREENIES
========

J0-E (Janitor grade 0 - electronic, or
Joey for short) is a somewhat outdated
maintenance droid who has reached the
pinnacle of his career as general
dogsbody aboard the garbage scow ISS
Unbearable. Today his task is to paint
the cargo holds of the ship.
Unfortunately, it's a fact of life in
the universe that where you have
garbage, you have Greenies. These
amorphous creatures are non-agressive
and generally harmless, but their
bodies conduct electricity and Joey's
insulation is long overdue for
replacement, so any contact with them
will cause a short circuit.

Joey is controlled by the joystick and
by default has his paint spray
switched on. Holding down the fire
button will turn of the paint spray
and allow Joey to move faster. The
object of each level is simply to
paint all the floor tiles without
running into any of the Greenies.
Points are earned for each tile
painted, and a bonus and an extra life
are awarded when a level is completed.

Once you have started Joey moving, he
cannot be turned around until he
is centered on the next tile, but you
CAN change his speed between tiles. In
theory this means that if you get the
rhythm correct you can 'jump' from
tile to tile, keeping the fire button
down to move quickly and only
releasing it as Joey reaches the next
tile. In practice, whenever I try this
I miss some, but you may have more
luck.
