is a bug or a parser error
please send me a note to the

  Cortizone II: UNKNOWN QUANTITY

      COMING SOON (HOPEFULLY)

              TO LOAD:

Insert disk 1 in drive A & reset
your computer. Double click on
CZONE1.PRG.

      SCENARIO AND OBJECTIVES:

At the start of the game you find
yourself hiding under a pile of
refuse in a dark alleyway outside
the Zone, a hospital which was
converted after the great war to
hold both human and robotic
criminals at little expense to the
weakened government.
Conditions are barbaric as the inner
building is mainly unguarded leaving
prisoners to fight over limited
resources that are periodically
dropped into the building by supply
chute. Your aim is to gain entry to
the Zone by any means possible and
find the mad doctor thought to be
responsible for the creation of the
Adrenal Bomb, obtaining relevant
information to find and defuse this
devastating new device.
This will not be easy.

          HINTS AND TIPS:

Background information is available
by loading the ZONEFILE.PRG program
which is on disk 2.

If you get stuck while exploring the
Zone try using the HELP command, and
if you can't get your message
across, try the DICTIONARY for a
list of the most used words.

Remember to Ramsave regularly, that
way if you make a wrong move you can
go back to the time before and try
again. CORTIZONE allows for three
seperate positions to be stored in
memory at any one time. Execute
them by typing RS1, RS2 and RS3
respectively.
You can also save your position as a
.POS file by typing SAVE, which will
prompt you to insert a disk, and
then display an item selector box.
Enter a name for your position and
hit RETURN. Then click on OK with
the mouse. To load up a saved
position repeat the procedure
substituting LOAD for the SAVE
command.

Text styles can be changed to your
own preference with the following
commands:
SILVER (default), GOLD, METAL,
RAINBOW, RED, YELLOW, BLUE, GREEN,
WHITE, RED SHADES, BLUE SHADES,
GREEN SHADES and WHITE.

The game does include a number of
undocumented features, so to speak.
Some of these give bonuses but it is
up to you to find them. But remember
every time you make a move the time
is ticking by...
