              BINGO DOC

RUN BINGO.PRG PROGRAM IN
 LOW RESOLUTION

This is a variant of the popular
BINGO GAME. Ten cards, each having
15 numbers, can be printed-out using
the CARDS.DOC file. Use Med-Res and
10 cards can be printed on an A4
sheet of paper. 10 numbers on each
card are specific to that card and
are not duplicated on any other
cards. The remaining 5 numbers are
random repeats of numbers on other
cards. All cards therefore have a
different number configuration. It
follows that it is possible for more
than one card to win. That is the
same as conventional BINGO.

A BONUS feature has been included so
that if a card wins with the first
15 numbers 'called' then the winner
claims 10 times the card cost off
each player. For example; if a card
costs 1p and there are 7 cards in
play then the winner is due for 7p
per player = 70p total.

Similarly, a bonus of 5 times is
given to a winner after 30 'calls'
and 2 times after 45 'calls'. An on-
screen display prompts when a bonus
may be valid.

In the event of a 'doubtful' win
pressing the BACKSPACE key will
display all numbers called up to
that time in the game. Press
spacebar to continue after checking
or 'ESC' key to terminate game.

Load programme by clicking on the
BINGO.PRG icon and press spacebar
for each number in turn. Programme
will automatically terminate when
all numbers( 1 to 90 inc) have been
'called'.

Note that with all 10 cards in play
at least one player must win. If
only, say, 7 cards are in play and
no one wins then the cards cost can
be put into a special bonus, for
example, and awarded to the first
player(s) to come up with number 5
or 90 etc., the number being
declared before the game commences
and before the cards are isuued.

Many other variants are possible.
