Nix. (a moon of Pluto) This download is good, and the bad one came from somewhere else. But this means there is broken copies "out there" maybe already in your collection.

Corrupted download presently here? After completing first 4 attack waves you dock with your Mother ship for refueling, and a huge chunk of the ship is missing like there is a disk sector with all zeros instead of mother ship graphic. The working game says "Mother" in full written on the ship.

One of the best vertical shooters. Read the instruction about choosing game numbers 1 thru 4 and for slowing down time by pulling back on stick allowed once per fighter.

Threshold is high resolution black and white with artifacting and greater gameplay than say "A.E." and some people liked A.E. enough to put it on cartridge for model 5200 and/or XEGS. Here the raw power of your cannon is ballzy.

This was my first Atari 'shooter'. It's a stunner because it never stops coming at you with increasingly difficult, but doable, levels of play. It matches play very closely with the arcade game "Astroblaster", which was great fun. I bought this game as a 'mind number', and it does the trick. You'll get a case of carpal tunnel syndrome playing this great game. If you can find a copy, buy it and then plan to spend hours saving the earth from the relentless attacks of monsters from space intent on destroying your way of life---and stealing your Atari!

 Electronic Games · November, 1982

When On-Line began producing games for the Atari computers as well as the good old Apple II, it was a major piece of good news for owners of the 400 and 800. The Coarsegold, CA company has done it again by releasing this home version of the popular Astro Blaster from SEGA / Gremlin.
When On-Line publishes a game, prospective purchasers can generally count on fast action, superb... [more]
