I played this game on Commodore years ago.
Back in 83, gamers were very impressed with the cartoon like images. Of course, gameplay is mostly just reaction jumps. Adjusting speed also figures in gameplay.

There are 5 computer formats with Spectrum being colourful but the weakest. Atari and C64 are excellent but slightly harder. With the 64 having the best sound scape.

The Colecovision & MSX are easier with the latter having bits of speech!

Great game with simple but addictive gameplay. A game that I would wager, inspired the fantastic Wonderboy!

CHEAT MODE unlimited lives, cartridge 16K version - change one byte at data offset number $2F59 from #01 to become #00. Affects both one and two player games.

Btw I think the Sounds are dreadful.

This game is surprisingly almost identical to the C64 version. The only differences are basically the sound effects.

A great little classic gem, no question about it. It's fun to jump over rocks and dodge branches and utilize those strange ways to get over bigger obstacles.

The turtle bits are a bit frustrating, though, because they require so much waiting.

The only fault here is that the game is a bit too short. If it was 15 times as long, it would be a superb experience. As it is now, it's a nice, short snack of a game, not really representing a full experience.

It's fun while it lasts, though..

This is definitely one of those classic favorites that I simply MUST come back to from time to time, it's just that atmospheric and simply fun.

Quarky and funny. Hilarious sound effects. The turtles are tricky. Your going Nascar speed about the 5th time around.

Here's one for Wiley's Dictionary. Disk Drive: (n.) A fundraiser for the National Chiropractic Association. Maybe that's not the best way for the prehistoric world of the B.C. comic strip to enter the computer age, and fortunately it doesn't have to be. The long-awaited Quest for Tires game, starring Thor, the Fat Broad and the Cute Chick, is finally here. The graphics have been lovingly... [more]

 Electronic Games · May, 1984

Johnny Hart's B.C. characters star in this one or two-player action / adventure that goes heavy on humor without sacrificing challenge or excitement. Programmer Chuck Benton has translated all of the comic strip's considerable charm to the electronic game screen using graphics that will certainly please all Hart fans in the audience.
The player uses the joystick to steer Thor, mounted on his... [more]
