I don't recall 'copying' any other game at the time. I don't recall the title you mentioned either. This was our first project cumbersomely developed with a tape drive and a LJK-Assembler cartridge. I was responsible for sound and music. Whe had a hell of a time ;-) The game never went commercial. Other projects like 'Masters of Time' and 'Ski World Cup' were distributed by BCC Wiesbaden and Ravensburger.

Well,
take a look at the game "Smurf Hunting" (available in the Homesoft library) - looks and plays extremely similar... I guess Showdown is just a ripp-off of this game (or vice-versa)... -Andreas Koch.
