Like so many of our mothers, mine said to me, "If you can't say something good, then don't say anything at all." Well, Mom, sometimes something is so awful that you've got to diss it. So it is with Dr. Goodcode's Cavern. Maybe the code is good, but the game sux. It's written in BASIC, and embarassingly slow. This a text 'adventure' (quotes to indicate that this ain't no adventure). Worse yet, hit reset, and you can get a listing of the lines of code on screen and jump anywhere you want in the game. What a waste of my money. I want my nickel back!!! I'm still mad about this one. And I had thought Gebellis Software sold great titles---which they usually did. Strange, but I still play this game. Must be like when you break a tooth and your tongue always goes there, and reminds you of decay. Move on.
