Of all the VCS pirates, “Octopirate”/Funvision was the most prolific, churning out ten thousands of cartridges, and thousands of multicarts. They had at least two cartridge types (V-case and Cooper Black), they had some kind of business deal with Zellers, they had many different labels(Goliath, Hotshot, Ultravision, K-telvision, 2600 Compatible)and they created four original games(Challenge, Vulture Attack, Inca Gold, and Time Warp). As massive as they were, currently little is known about them. It's a shame that, as of now, we don't know what they did during the Famicom era. Of course, there is no Nintendomania(but should be). |
