Well, the author of the bird demo, fuji-boink, amiga boink and the starship demo is XANTH, the same guy that programmed Midi Maze a few years later. Originally all these demos (except Amiga boink) were available as one big file, called "130XE CES demo", since they were shown at the 1985 CES show and required a 130XE (128k RAM) to run. Luckily, the single file versions work fine with less memory...
